In a world where home recording is becoming ever easier, the emphasis on quality and fidelity are often lost. At Blinc, quality is king, above all else, and we won’t allow time nor money to get in the way.
For too long Welsh music has been sheltered from the world, partly due to lack of confidence in the success of Welsh-language music abroad. At Blinc we aim to address this, by promoting our music outside of Wales, and outside of Britain.
Creating a platform for Welsh-language music is at the heart of Blinc’s mission; we believe that culture is essential to the development and appreciation of the Welsh language. Welsh-language and English-language music are equally as important, and their promotion are of equal priority.
It has become custom for record companies to take charge of artists’ music, and not involve them in decision-making. With every release we liaise closely with the artist to ensure that they agree with every investment in their music.
